City Park

A major Midwestern City’s downtown park, one city block in size, had become a winter roost for over 150,000 starlings. Within days, the trees were stained with droppings, and the health and safety risks were extreme.

Flock Fighters USA was retained to fog the site. The park staff, observers, and passersby were astonished when the first two nights of fogging resulted in the frantic flight of over 100,000 birds vacating the site. On the third night, less than 5,000 birds arrived at the park; the rest were observed flying overhead to a new location. The park was totally bird-free by the fifth night of fogging.
